We Rent Two Types of Vehicles:
A small car (Honda Civic) with 4 doors, seatbelts for 5, and ample trunk storage.
A Jeep Wrangler with 4 doors, seatbelts for 5, convertible soft top and stickers to drive on town beaches and Great Point.

Minimums may apply
A one day rental is for any time up to 24 hours. At select times of year we have 2 & 3 day minimums for advance reservations.
Age requirement
You must be 25 to rent a sedan, 30 for a Jeep.
Pick up/drop off location
All our car and Jeep rentals must be picked up and returned to Young’s at 6 Broad Street in down town Nantucket. After hours returns available
Cancellation Policy
Alert us with at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your reservation to avoid charges.
Car and Jeep Rental FAQs
What kind of Jeeps do you rent?
We rent red 4 door Jeep Wranglers with convertible soft tops. They are 2022 and 2023 model years.
Do the Jeeps have beach stickers?
Yes. They have stickers that allow you to drive on the beach to the Great Point Lighthouse as well as any open town beaches (Nobadeer, 40th Pole). We give you a lesson in store to help you have a successful beach driving adventure.
What kind of cars do you rent?
We rent Honda civic sedans in either a 2022 or 2023 model year.
Can I return after hours?
Of course! Our lot stays open 24/7 so you can return vehicles and bikes before we open or after we close, just leave the keys in the drop box in the door when you are finished.
How old do I have to be to rent a vehicle?
The minimum age for renting or driving a Jeep is 30. The minimum age for renting a Honda Civic is 25.
Do you provide car seats/booster seats?
We can provide these on request for a one time fee of $20.
Can I reserve a vehicle for one day?
In the peak season, we have a two day minimum for advanced reservations. The best way to get into something for a day is to call us the day before you want to rent between 3-5 and see what's available to book the next day. You are also welcome to walk in the day you would like the vehicle if something is available.
Can you deliver a vehicle to my rental house or hotel?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer this service. All vehicles must be rented from and returned to our 6 Broad Street location.
